Altens Training Centre

Altens Training Centre

Home of “the RGIT”

Altens Industrial Estate, Aberdeen, UK

Acquired by Petrofac Training Services in 2004, the survival training centre was originally purpose built for RGIT Montrose in 2002. Its reputation for quality and expertise persists to this day. In fact, many in the industry still refer to the basic offshore survival course – BOSIET – as “the RGIT”.

We continue to develop the exceptional training facilities today – in line with clients’ changing needs and the latest industry requirements. Training conforms to rigorous industry accreditation standards and is delivered by a highly proficient teaching staff.

Our multi-skilled team and broad range of services allow unrivalled flexibility in training. We can tailor courses to clients’ specific needs whilst maintaining industry standards, and we can work to short lead times. Our training environment is set up to ensure delegate safety and welfare. Learning outcomes are met without placing unnecessary demands on the individual.
