Petrofac opens training centre in Houston

Petrofac, the international oil & gas facilities service provider, today (7 May 2008) announces the opening of its new training centre in Houston to be operated by its training arm, Petrofac T raining.

The facility is equipped to meet the health & safety and emergency response training needs of the oil & gas industry in Houston as well as servicing other industries within the energy sector.

The centre boasts a state-of-the–art critical incident management training simulator, fully equipped with IT and audio-visual capabilities to recreate emergency scenarios to train managers and their teams to deal with emergency situations. A range of courses is available at the centre to adequately prepare individuals and organisations for major emergencies.
