Takatuf and Petrofac agree to create Centre of Excellence for Technical Training

27 April 2013

Takatuf, the human capital unit of Oman Oil company (OOC)and global oilfield services company Petrofac have agreed on a Memorandum of Understanding to create a joint venture for the establishment of an industry-leading technical training Centre of Excellence (COE). The COE will be the largest technical training centre in Oman and will initially focus on the development of the employees of OOC and its local subsidiaries. At a later stage, it will aim to provide services for the wider oil and gas industry in Oman. The COE will be designed and managed by Petrofac Training Service, the world’s largest provider of technical training services to the oil and gas industry.
